Any chance for an Arri subforum?

Hi guys,

Wondering if it would be possible to get an Arri subforum going for users of the Alexa, Amira and Mini (and various camera support bits)? I think there's actually quite a few of us about these days and there isn't really a decent forum anywhere online for discussing the cameras (Arri's own forums are a dead zone).

Second that, we could always assist other users and occasionally receive support from more experienced ops.
 
You would purchase a specific license - with certain options - to access that part of the forum.

You can also rent the cheapest license for one week...and read, but not post.

Again, that's part of the reason it would be great to have a subforum here - because it's avery different medium, and much more conducive to detailed, searchable discussion.
 
I would love this too. Just picked up a used Alexa. They're obviously within the realm of ownership for many owner/operators now and badly in need of a real support forum.

The really great thing about the Arri Classics coming into 2nd market is there is very little change as far as image quality....if at all. (my Classic is a little but greener than my Mini and Amira).
 
I can only wait until Alexa bodies are showing up for $3,500 in a matter of 5 to 10 years.. then I will pounce :D
 
Is this an unlicensed ARRI forum? A cheap knock-off the real thing yet to be unveiled?

I think that (in this case), it'd be a rare example of a third-party knock-off that's vastly superior to the real thing.

So c'mon DVXuser admins, how about a late Christmas present (in the form of an Arri subforum)?
 
We're pushing 2,000 views on this thread Mods, please throw us a bone here. This is a sub-forum that this community would genuinely benefit from, as it simply doesn't exist anywhere else online.
