Any chance for a GH2 Audio sub forum?

It seems like getting good--or at least useable--audio through the GH2 is possible but challenging. With the kind of work that many of us do, it's a big hassle (to near impossible) to do dual system. Even if you are going dual system, there are a myriad ways to thread sound to the GH2 for a good sync track.
There are a lot of good threads dedicated to this topic, but it would be nice if there was a centralized location to find these discussions. I do check out the Audio forum under filmmaking but these HDSLR cameras are so distinct in the different audio set-ups they require that a basic audio forum seems like a shotgun (the kind Elmer Fudd used) with a very wide spread.
Just a thought. Maybe there wouldn't be enough demand to warrant it.

The audio issues with many other HDSLR cameras are all pretty similar to the challenges of getting good sound with the GH2. You can pretty much take any audio advice about the Canon 7D and the T2i and tack a Hosa GMP-467 3.5mm to 2.5mm right-angle adapter to the end of it and it applies to the GH2.

I haven't worked with the 7D or T2i--but if the GH2 doesn't have many unique audio issues then maybe a HDSLR audio forum?

the audio section constantly has posts targeted to dslr audio(many many are repeated...) and there's also the search function...

I think that woodcarver has a point about the specific needs of DSLR audio, but perhaps the Audio section is really the place to pitch it....it certainly gets my support. Part of the problem is that the audio techs in there are likely to be a tad dismissive about the prospect of attaining good sound on a DSLR without going double system. They're probably mostly right.
