any Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals on a 1x1 LED light?

Hi folks. I want to add a good 1x1 (or similar) LED light to my light kit. I currently have an Aputure Lightstorm 1/2, which I like quite a bit, but I need a stronger key light. I'm OK with adding gels to adjust color, but I'm open to bi-color recommendations. I'd like to spend between $350 and $500.

A friend has a couple Dracast LED lights, and likes them very much. (bicolor model on sale for $485 at B&H)

He also suggested the Litepanels Astra E 1x1 (single color E1x1 is on sale at B&H for $465).

So, if anyone has any suggestions and knows of any Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales on lights, please chime in.

It's a little too early for the major Black Friday announcements. Some are being leaked already but, generally, it'd be happening around the 20th.

That said, pro gear isn't generally discounted around the major consumer events. There are other reasons, such as the upcoming competition, product cycle, inventory overstock, etc.
 
I read last night on News Shooter that Litepanels will run a 48 hour sale November 9th & 10th on the Astra's offering 30% off while supplies last. The bad news, it's only on the 1x1 Daylight E series, which are of course single color temp and much lower power than the original Astra's. That sucks because I would have scooped up at least two more if they were the bi-color full power versions like I have.
 
Yea i saw that too. I've given up on astra. Look into litegear literibbon and make your own fixture. Every time I talked to best boys and gaffer they told me not to was try money on that crap (astra) and instead make my own. Unless you are renting it out then get the astra
