Any advice for shooting music video in 720P ?

I like to shoot 720P 24N. I'm concerned about any issues that may
arise regarding syncing. What is a good on-set playback system for
the artist to use as a lip-sync reference and for the HVX-200 to record
as a scratch track? Will a C.D. boombox do? What do people use?

Now that cassette tape is far behind us and CD has taken over, sync issues
should be a thing of the past, whether using a boombox or more expensive playback. If you need more volume, hook up and ipod or CD player to a PA
system .For plenty of volume on a budget, use a guitar amp. Your scratchtrack should sync perfectly.

Be VERY careful with boomboxes. They tend to skip and on battery power can slow down a bit.
