Any advantage to SDX900 over AF100?

well, if its ENG style vs. cinema style. there is currently no ENG with rocker zoom lens for the AF100, but its sensor is 4x the size, the look is amazing, and you don't have to buy $40 tapestock per piece. Plus you get an HD version for archive instead of having to upres to HD later on...

also, SD projects that where shot in HD always look better, sharper, etc.

None. We had a SDX900 around when we did the candle light shoot-out for test fest (we did not use it though for the test as it was SD, we just had it until the HDX900 showed up and turned it on to see how it looked, but we did not record anything...) There are better cameras for ENG work if that is what you need, and the AF100 def. spanked it in low light... so no real reason to go for it IMO... I would only consider a SDX900 if you are shooting ENG work for a place that is set up only for SD delivery... otherwise you are just getting old (but good) SD technology for a world that is pretty much already in the HD era.
