Am I understanding this correctly?

An Anton Bauer Goldmount will work with other types of batteries like IDX, SWIT etc.? Or do I have it wrong?
 
Yes. There are many third party battery manufacturers that make AB Gold Mount batteries. However IDX is not one of them. Their batteries won't work on an Anton Bauer mount because they exclusively use the Sony "V-mount." IDX makes their own V-mount for the HD100 and their batteries that JVC distributes.
Third party battery manufacturers like Swit make both styles of batteries.


BTW, you should really try to keep these themed questions in one thread and just "reply" instead of "starting new topic" threads all the time.
