Anton Bauer Titan 2 Charger

Anyone notice on their charger if the cooling fan runs the entire time a battery is on it even when it is finished charging or if the charger is switched to camera mode?

Just notice mine today and it is load. Much louder than I would have thought.

I am sorry to hear that the fan is louder than you thought it was going to be, we do try to have the most efficient and quite fan possible in order to moderate the temperature of the two 70w power supplies which allow the Titan 2 charger to charge two batteries simultaneously and as well as allow the use of the 70w power supply while charging a battery. You can try using canned air to remove any dirt or dust that may have gotten onto the fan, if you still are not satisfied with the sound level of the fan after you have tried this you can always send the unit to our customer support department and they will gladly do all they can for you.

The fan on the Titan 2 Charger will run when charging a battery and will continue to do so once the battery has finished charging until the unit cools down. The fan will also run in camera mode because while in camera mode, with or without a battery charging, the 70w power supply is functioning and the fan will work to keep the unit cool.

No big deal. I normal put the batteries on charge and leave but had them on charge next to camera yesterday so I noticed. Nothing I can't live with. Love the Dionic 90s and the titan is a great charger to travel with and gives me a power supple too. Cant complain to much.

I was really just making sure it was normal for the fan to on.

I have 2 Titan Twin chargers that I have batteries attached to 24/7 (two Dinonic 60s and two older Hytron 50s) and neither of them makes a tremendous amount of noise, and my office is very quiet.. You might want to check with your dealer...
