Is there any way to take the heavy Sony NP-F970 lithium ion battery off the back of an Ikan monitor and use it as a power source for the monitor at the back of a shoulder rig for example? Some kind of adapting plate for this?
You might check out their AC106S... I haven't used it, but it looks like a standalone Sony "L" Series battery plate with a cord that plugs into the A/C port of the monitor. Not sure how long the cord is, but it might be worth looking into.
