Anti Drugs Music Video

I like the look of the video, My biggest thing that bug's me about any indie production; whether it cost $5000 or 500,000; is the lack of portraying a realistic club environment. I did think the camera work was great.... good job.

I think you did an good job on the club scene, the video was well done.... It's probably one of the hardest things to do, properly light it and control that amount of people.... Good job

I have to say at his first hit.. drugs seemed really appealing..life was good for about 20 seconds there. The lighting looks quite good

Looks good, I like the music and video. It looks like your 1:85 mask isn't sized correctly to cover the top and bottom of the screen. While it wouldn't show up on a tv, it looks like it's just a little small on my computer screen.

Looks really good. Not sure how antidrug the message was for me. The club scene looked fine. I've been in clubs that look similar. I don't think you needed the additional drug users. Focusing on the one character is fine. They additionals users pop in/out too quickly and without context.

Your mask letterbox mask was missing or sized incorrectly in a few short moments somewhere after the 2 minute mark.

Good job.

I thought you did an excellent job. The video had a great feel to it and that music was actually enticing. Very nice job.

The scene in the bathroom with the mirror trick was AWESOME.

Looked great!

I watched this on my TV, so compression was evident, but it still looked very nice.

Thanks all,

Lots of people are shooting musc vids for broadcast on the DVX in New Zealand now...I see them on air all the time :)

I liked the look and the editing very much. Perfect for this kind of jazzy/funky music.
I just think this whole anti-drug thing could have been more dramatic. The high was fine, but the awkward looks from the other dancers were unneccesary and in my oppinion exaggerated. The toilet scene with the singers in the mirror was a great idea an d great composition. What does the last shot of this clip mean. Does the addict turn his back on drugs or does he take the road to nowhere.

What kind of equipment did you use?

Keep it up, I liked it very much : )

Nice one! New Zealand is on fire!
Did you use any filters on the camera?
Would anyone like to comment of filter use?
Would a black frost have produced a soft film edge for some shots?

Love it!
