I think I remember reading that his previous show sometiems was shot on a 7d or 5d. His new show looks to be shot on a 5d mark iii, anyone know any details?

Zach Zamboni is his DP (Can't remember the other cam ops on that show)

Zach shoots on a Sony F3 mostly now. The slow mo shots are from an FS700 in this episode.

According to this tweet the show is shot on Sony F3, F700, PMW 200, Go Pro Hero 3.

Though, in the photo from this article his camera guy is clearly shooting with a Canon 5D Mark (something)

I would guess from reading the article it may have been to stay low key - the whole 6 white guys deep into Congo. Good stuff.
