Another Wedding Highlight Video

Nice Work

Nice Work

I enjoyed the moderate extreme close-up style of your video...mostly an exceptional display of camera work. However, I feel that you overdid the technique of "cutting off" top of heads...seems out of place in a wedding video.
But I congratulate you for creating something much nicer than the "ordinary" wedding video. Please explain what you presented to the client. (i.e. Uncut, complete ceremony? One hour edited DVD?)

Yea, some of the cropping could be fixed... but I generally cut the frame close when I do narrative work... I'll just be giving them the raw footage and highlight video that you saw.

Overall, very nice. I agree with the framing issues mentioned.

Can you share the lighting techniques for the reception? (I believe your friend shot it?) I've never been happy with the DVX for low-light situations. And that's just shooting at 60i, never mind 24p. Well anyways, his reception shots has nice lighting.

I had to shoot a wedding last weekend by myself. I hate that, two camera shoots yeild much better results. Your video is a prime example.

I'm also hoping to end the "SD experience" real soon.

I shot one camera for the ceremony (the tighter shots) and my buddy shot the reception. The reception area had great lighting overall, and he just opened the Iris up all the way and shot 1/24 shutter speed as well. It turned out quite nice!

how did u color the first scne of them walking out (cud be thru the whole video but its taking so logn to load)

the colors are nice
