Hey all. I posted some lower res early CC versions of this video a while back but now have some Quicktime versions online for any who care to check it out.
Normally I work with a studio that has Mini35 capability ect, but this was more a labor of love on my part and my way of trying to get into the rock genre with a video. It worked, this band has got me alot of clients since but this video was just me, a DVX, a skateboard dollie some home depot work lights and one 4' flourescent. The dust in the night shots is actually... dust.
The performance stuff was shot in 4 hours, the story in 3. Locations I could not light (such as the parking garage) were selected based on the avaliable lighting to create the look I wanted.
Anyway go here http://homepage.mac.com/alexmia/Menu2.html click on "client review and approval" The .mov files require Quicktime 7 the MPEG-4 Quicktime 6 Obviuosly the larger the file the better the compression and image, but there is something there for everyone, even dial up.
There is still just a tad more work to be done, waiting on one piece fom the band but this is pretty close to it so enjoy.
