Hello all. Just asking for some advice on exposing in S-log when using a waveform monitor to assist. From my experience it seems that you shouldn't let anything go over 70 IRE on the waveform monitor (even 65%)- this should be where your brightest object should peak (and that is when you are shooting under bright conditions). Should you try to keep most of the range around 50 IRE - with faces set around 40IRE? Much of my trial shots seem slighty overexposed even when I try to control the highlights and keep them down. But the shots look lovely when they the exposure is right. I did a shoot in Europe last week and didn't take a risk using S-LOG, but the image still looked lovely. However S-LOG is something I want to use going forwards. Have a look at these two pics:

The lady on the left was shot with S-LOg and the gentleman on the right was shot using my own picture profile the recent shoot. I really do like the way the camera handles colour using S-Log, and really want to nail shooting with it. However the F3 is no mug when not using it either. Thanks in advance for any help.
