Another Digibeta question

Okay, so I've found a post house that can transfer to Digibeta and here is what they have requested to do so:

"For best transfer quality, it would be best to have an uncompressed
8bit quicktime if possible. If you can't get me that, please bring in
the files on a hard drive, and we can go from there."

Now, I shot the movie with a DVX100b 24fps and edited it with Sony Vegas Pro 8. Is there a way I can get an uncompressed 8bit quicktime off of Vegas? I'm confused by what they are talking about in regards to 8 bit.

8-bit is usually the default for uncompressed AVI/QT. That's 8 bits per color channels R, G, and B (actually 24 total bits per pixel, but referred to as 8-bit).

What you want to do is export a QT with compression "None" and frame rate 23.976. It'll be a big file, about 1GB per minute.
