Video shot on DVX200 in vlogl and graded with FilmConvert. Audio via Rodelink and shotgun (used once) direct into camera. Photos with EOS 6D. Cut and delivered with FCPX. Whacha think?

On my 40" 4K Monitor, the skin-tones look very NICE! I thought the audio was pretty decent considering how windy it was. Did you clean the audio up much in post? Technically, very well done. Simple in form, but I'm sure that was price that dictated that, Sometime simple is good. Nice work!

Thanks. Yeah, I ain't whipping out the UAS and the jib and bringing on three other guys to shoot other angles and all that for this budget. Also, I'd never bring that much gear on a beach wedding, anyway. Sand and salt air....no thanks. At least 100° but thank God for that wind! I hardly clean up the audio at all. The muff takes care of most of it. I really dont go past "simple" for this sorta thing. The client will never know or care so long as they can hear everything clearly. I record everything well so it doesnt need to be cleaned up. The grade was simple, too...because it was shot well. I don't believe in "fixing it in post." It shouldn't be that broken! lol

I agree. This was a simple wedding and using any fancy gear would have looked contrived. Your breaking of the 180 rule was very well done and added a sense of tension to the scene. Nice. The video came out really well and got the job done. I generally do not really like wedding videos, but your use of excellent stills helped break up the monotony of a wedding service. The still at the end with the family walking away from the camera was very nice. Perfect ending. Budget is important but so is subject matter. You recorded it, made it look nice, and got the job done. Your clients are probably very happy. Mission accomplished.

Thanks! I did not yet have my shoulder rig at the time, so this is mostly handheld with ois. I used sticks for the zoomed out entrances and the long speech which there's only a snippet of here.
