animation AND the GH1

anyone know of a way to change settings and shoot via a computer using the GH1??? i know canons can. this function is important for programs like stopmotion pro and flip book as well as various other animation software. I also use my GH1 on a down shooter/ multiplane system and changing the settings can be a pain as it requires me to take the camera down.

i love my GH1 but it seems that it doesn't want to be animator friendly... any help is much appreciated.

Hmmm... other than hooking up one of those hings that give you a remote shutter button.. I don't know.

yeah i have a remote shutter that can control camera settings and double as an intervalometer which is great for anything off the animation stand, it will have to work for now i guess...

no live view out is also troublesome for stopmotion/ tradition animation as onion skinning is not available either, its funny to think how spoiled we all get in just a matter of years. filmmakers have been doing all this for many many years before the DSLR ever came to fruition.

anywho thanks for the replies...
