Animated Shake Logo revisited

Worked with the file a lot more... and came up with this... I took some advice from some feedback from the last logo, and I think I might have a winner on this one.. (except I still have to add my buisness name.) Maybe tommorow...

What do you guys think of the pulsating "C"? Is it too much?

Hmm actually I can't really get what's going on there..... I think it's a little unestetic!
But it's a cool effect with the fan thing!

um, you may want to hit the antialis buttom. Your graphics seem a bit jagged edged. Over all it seemd okay.

Just a suggestion, yeah alittle mest up but oh well.

hmm it starts out cool but then around 6 or 8 seconds i didn't really feel it anymore. i don't know much about animating so i'm sorry i can critique better

I think it begins well, but I don't understand your logo. I've looked at it a long time, and the more I do, the less I get it.

I have the same issues as everyone else. Not sure what the purpose of the animation is. Specifically, are you trying to do a cool animation logo? Or are you trying to create something which represents redcap media?

redcap - I agree with the others. IMO you need to first design the logo in Illustrator or Photoshop. Created a variety of versions and the choose the one you like. Then think of a way to animate it. Keep trying. You'll find what you're looking for.

Blue - Your verions would look better if you got rid of the top black "R" layer. Just too many elements. But good stuff.

The original logo was designed in Illustrator... as far as it being jagged, yeah it is. I don't know why exactly, it looks fine on my website. But lately illustrator cs 2 has been giving me a lot of crap with my illustrator files so it crashes whenever I try to copy or modify or save out the original logo. I think I took a screen shot and dropped it into photoshop to be imported into shake. I didn't blur the final logo at the end, and that might be why it looks jagged.

The logo is to be added to productions (and dvd's) that I've made, and will make in the future, at the end. As far as the logo, its an R shape in the background that resembles a "hat" and a "C" in the center. It catches a lot of peoples' eyes when they see it on my buisness card.

When I first saw your logo (unanimated) I imediately saw it in my head as an unfolding mechanical thing unfolding in a circular fasion to form the final logo. Sort of like a lock tumbler if that makes any sense. What you have going on is too much distraction from the developing final logo for my taste. Of course this is strictly the opinion of me and I can't be held responsible for it!
