Looking around I happened to find a lens of Angenieux. A Arriflex Angenieux 12-120/2.2 type 10x12B. I thought it's an arri standard mount and that it will cover 35mm. I thinlk it's made for a Bolex. But will it work on a AF100?

No, it won't even work on a super16 camera.. Bolex was (until near the end) a standard 16 camera only...

There is a standard 16 zoom that nearly covers super16, the Canon 12-120 T2.8... but it won't come close to covering the AF100... You've got to move up to 35mm cine lenses.. and as I said in a post below, the equivalent to the Angenieux 12-120 is the old Angenieux 25-250, a big, ugly, heavy and not very sharp lens...

The good cine zoom lenses are going to be expensive - I mean REALLY expensive - because they're precision designs, often hand built in small numbers, for an industry where price hasn't been an object... Most of us are going to have to make do with the best of the still lenses - for a while at least until mass production catches up with this niche market.

There is an Angenieux 20-120 model made for S35 also, and Cookes 25-250, 18-100, 20-100, 20-60 older models that can be found at reasonable prices compared to new lenses. By "reasonable" I mean around 10-20% of the cost of a new one. Still typically several thousand dollars. The issue with any of them is that they are by still lens standards quite large and heavy. You can get some decent buys on Angie 25-250's and while they may be a little soft compared with the newest lens designs with modern coatings, they are still capable of shooting very high quality beautiful images if they are in decent shape.

This is a good reference... I'd do the Cooke 20-100 for the AF100 if I was looking for a good cine zoom...
