Andromeda

[Joe@JTP]

I'm trying to figure out where I can buy it. I'm guessing I would have to send them my camera so whats the info on it.

You are several years late to this party.

Might find someone willing to sell one here... (we'd started this after reel-stream folded).

I have an Andromeda camera that I was planning on selling soon.

I've always wanted an andromeda. The minute a windows version was released I was going to have Juan mod my camera. I got to the point where I built a hackintosh in 2006 and then the whole thing fell through with the release of the hvx and Juan leaving. I still want my DVX modified..

What exactly IS andromeda? I have heard so much about it. Someone mentioned a while ago that it's a 4:4:4 sampling hack that uprezzez to a hackintosh?

you can shoot uncompressed footage too. but I simply didn't care about andromeda once I knew how big the file size was......
I kinda remember reading that a 45 second clip took like 20 min to export/captuer.....or something....:huhsorry if I'm wrong)
