Andromeda...conversion for Vegas?

I understand that Andromeda utilized proprietary software to capture uncompressed. But can that software export the captured video in a codec that can be used in Vegas (or premiere or avid or edius for that matter) or must it be cut in FCP?

I've been wondering the same thing. Is there some way to have a workflow using Vegas to edit? Basically, it would be cool to use a Mac Mini as a capture device and then edit on a PC in Vegas.

From my understanding, the video just has to be captured on a Mac. After that you can edit in any NLE. If you want to render it into another format before editing in your NLE I'm sure you can do that.

There should be a way to do it, but I've asked over at reel-stream and now someone else asked about it on this board (the most important one for Andromeda on the Web, by the way) and no one is really answering.

I know Windows support for capture is down the road quite a bit, but perhaps they are working on workflows to move footage to Windows for editing.
