Hi, did some test shooting on the weekend with a couple of my friends as they flexed some muscle for the Andromeda and SGPro. Was quite happy with the results. I've included a low and medium rez version, was even going to include a 1280x720 clip which showed hardly any grain at all if any, but the size was too big :<, love to hear your thoughts..

Why can't you keep the camera still? I can't watch this because i get a headache. Also why is there stepping on the green edges of his t-shirt? the compression seems pretty awful.

It would also help if you could focus the camera properly too. Your footage isn't doing it for me or doing it for andomeda either.

I'd love to see some decent footage using andromeda.
 
Constructive critism noted!! lol Jamesh, this test was all about color and getting the grain down to a minimum, which im quite happy with.. in order to do that i used a plugin by chv to reduce the grain although if the settings are slighty too high can create a slight trailing effect which might be what your referring to on my friends green shirt. I loaded up the larger file in QT and noticed some strange lines going through the footage, but loaded it in VLC player and it worked fine. As for me not keeping the camera still and focusing properly, thats just me laughing and having a good time, but i know what you mean, although in later shots we put it on a tripod and took things a little more seriously, will be sure to post some of that footage shortly, just thought id share this for a bit of fun. As for your headache, you might want to get some sleep hehe

I can see, even though the shot is a little out of focus, that potentially your setup is good and your workflow for removing grain/noise has been tweaked well.

I look forward to seeing the tripod shots you were refering to...
