Having said that... really enjoyed the Darkest Hour and Shade of Water cinemtography as well.
Deakins should have won decades ago, what an embarrassment for the Academy. His lighting was sublime but the movie, conceptually, was hugely flawed. The modern equivalent of Gone With The Wind II.
