Don't know if people can see this..

3 days in the studio with a Phantom flex 4k and FS7.. for 7 seconds of square facebook compressed mush :)

(shot other flavours too and billboard stills)

50/60p 4k very handy on the FS7, virtually all of my studio work is shot at that speed really - a big issue to my considerations of swapping to a camera without 4k-50-10bit.

Drone had blades turning but was attached to a crane to 'fly' it.

Lit with my 4 LUPO light package.. a push at 1000FPS.

It's a horrible format, and a horrible platform to produce films for. I'm going through the same hell with two of my clients at the moment. Pictures scrubbed-up nicely though Sam, despite the lack of light.

The format was not provided, so basically this is a crop of 16:9.. hopefully the 'wide screen' will appear somewhere.

Unexpected cropping/aspects basically mean such projects 'must' be shot 4k and compose a little loose - Im learning that - and why I advocate 8k as 'useful for advertising' but 'useless' for narrative cinema - no one ever needs to view the whole 8k frame!

Nice work Sam, you really captured the "wait, is that chocolate actually CGI?!?!" look!! :-D Did you use any N/R in post?

Can't see the still unfortunately, something about "invalid attachment".

Cheers,

jason

I didnt do any post. The Phantom files looked like proper raw from a 2010 stills camera (a bit clippy at the top end)

Didn't see any noise.

Bus ad.. where the liquid was CGI or not from us anyway.

But they let you hire in a phantom.... are you forced to pay for an operator as well? We are here in CPH... sucks big time. I was asked to finde a pricing for some exploding food in slow slow and that Phantom package took almost half the budget :(

Yep - we were forced into an operator. Didn't make much difference to me - he was a nice chap and helpful - but my regular A/C lost a days work :(

On day 2 (FS7) I was assisted by Paul from my office, who took the stills and provided the drone (he a licenced/insured operator) and assisted me.
