Anamorphic Lens

Has anyone used the anamorphic adaptor lens for their DVX100? I'm thinking of getting one, but how well does it work?

It's a mess. You are making your camera a prime. So, depth of field is heavily limited too, I am not sure but I think you have to sit at full wide. Just shoot squeeze, you and no one else will ever notice the slight loss of res.
