This test was purely for understanding the lens flare characteristics of the Kowa 8-z when combined with my 50mm fd glass.
Yes, I have committed several cardinal sins of online video posting which I will list off:
1. Hand-held shaky camera
2. Set to music by Sigur Ros
3. Color graded a test video (im a sucker for gamma curves and vignetting)
4. Shifting shutter speed throughout
5. Really long shots with not a lot of variety
Sins aside...I love this lens combo. The flare is incredibly prominent, and while the 2x squeeze might be a bit much for some, when viewing this at home on a 42 inch TV it looked pretty amazing.
