Anamorphic fit not snug

Anyone else notice that their anamorphic adapter does not fit tight against the camera housing and that the gap is movable? By this, I mean that it screws in all the way and focus is not a problem, but, when the lens is seated, there is a visible gap that allows the lens to be rocked slightly up and down (but not back and forth). Unusual? My thought about focus is that it probably hasn't be an issue since the lens doesn't squeeze top to bottom, only side to side. What do you think?

I thought I was the only one that was noticing this. I have two DVX's with the AG-LA7200 Lens and they both do this.
