I know that the anamorphic converter does not have a threaded end. I have read not to put a filter in between the lens and the converter, why is that so? not even a UV multicoated?
putting anything inbetween them changes the distance that they are apart.
the adaptor lense is made to sit at a given distance in front of the dvx lense to keep your lense optics aligned properly. .. you can tape a 4x4's in the front of the anamorphic .
