Anamorf and details

Just wondering

Normally you should lower the details in the DVX to get a soft look (-2)

But when you use the anamorfic adaptor it softens the picture to. So shall i have details (0) or does I get some advantage with lower like (-2)

Its hard to see the difference on a normal TV. So its how it affect in the postproduction process thats intresting.
