Anaglyphic HVX200!

That's a tricky question, it is possible to do I believe, but the problem up until recently is you need to get the two camera lenses close together and film cameras couldn't do that. Watch this movie http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-241532803911842846 it descripes how it's done, but wether or not it's possible to do with 2 hvx200's is a difficult question.

A lot of 3d stuff is now done in post production, but I have no idea how to go about doing that.

Thanks... 2 Parallels HVX... I'm working on it. The big problem of my production is how to edit correctly... programs, etc.

Best regards, MJC

One of the great things with the HVX is to combine it with the Firestore FS-100. You can essentially have 2 HVX200s & 2 Firestore drives. By setting one of the drives to Syncro Slave you can sync the running timecode between the recording devices by simply using a firewire cable. The technical setup for stereoscopic is down to you but this may help the organizing of the footage and to expedite the editorial process.

Hope it helps!

Hi Mauro:

Although not a direct answer to your inquiry, if you can get a hold of the latest issue of HD Video Pro Magazine, they had James Cameron write the cover story about he and his team have been developing and working with 3D shooting. Their gear is a lot higher end than HVXs but it would be an informative read for you

Best,

Dan
