So, I was at the Big Bear International Film Fest this weekend, representing "Dilated".
Well, we didn't win anything. Oh well.
But, this weekend was still successful, on a networking level. Met with film-makers from all over the world.
But the highlight for me was talking to Noel Blanc, a Big Bear resident. We talked at some length. And I had to ask for his autograph, which is very rare for me, but when you grow up on his father's and his voice.......... He signed the back of my "Film-Maker" pass, and when he asked my name, and I said "Well, my friends call me Doc", he said "So you're the one I have heard about. Several people had said there was a guy up here known as Doc. It's an honor to meet you". WTF????????? An honor to meet me??????????
Autograph says "Ehh, what's up "Doc"? Stay cool, Doc!!!!!! Bugs Bunny & Noel Blanc" with cell phone number.......... he might assist us in an upcoming project.
Humbled to talk with such a down-to-earth guy. It's getting framed!!!!!!!!
