GH4 An in-camera cine-v still

I shot this music video a couple days ago. We decided that based on the schedule we wouldn't have time for a proper color grade. I suggested we shoot a set look, so I set up the gh4 with cine-v -5 contrast, -5 sharpness, -2 saturation. Here is an out of camera still grab from the shoot. I'm pretty amped on it. What do you guys think?

Been saying this is the way to go with the GH4 since day one. Nice lighting on that one !!!

Now that is a good image. Cine V is also my go to setting when turn around time is short.

Settled on the Cinelike V from the get go. But settings depend on the lens being used and for what purpose <can't repeat that enough…..

Thanks! Yeah, lighting is so much of the image that it's kinda funny how people get worked up about all the wrong things.

The key light is daylight and I'm balanced to daylight, so there is gonna be some warmth from the practicals and bounce from the environment.

I agree. I believe that if you are not shooting RAW, you should try to get the in camera image to look as close as possible to your finished product.
