So my producer friend and I had the idea to make an Edward Scissorhands parody. He hand made the costume, and starred as Edward. I shot it, and colored the s-log footage (my first time, all in premiere pro CC).
I shot the footage in 1080/24, XAVC-I, Some 180FPS stuff, all s-log3 (except in the tight shot interview, that's a7s slog2 with the fs7 kit lens on the a7s). Most other footage is 24-105 canon with metabones speed booster. Also used were the 8mm rokinon fisheye, and the 11-16 wide tokina for a few select shots.
I used an input lut of slog3, and then I added a lumetri preset of a fujinon film stock that looked pleasing, and then adjusted as necessary. All of the shots that were shot bright enough looked great with just that much done. Some of the ones that should have been shot a stop higher, gave me a little more work to do - but I think I'm happy with the colors for the msot part. I would love to learn more about grading and going from premiere CC to davinci and back to premiere CC. In time though...
