Hey everybody, I'm new here and I figured I'd introduce myself by showing you all something I made a few months ago. There's a video game I like called "Amnesia: The Dark Descent", and I decided to try to insert one of the monsters of the game into some footage. It was just a 7 second test, but it got a TON of positive response on youtube, so I decided to make something longer. I decided to make a video starring the OTHER monster from the game, but have the whole video play out as if this was just the game, but in real life... well you'll see.
A little bit later, I made an effects breakdown, which you can watch here:

I used Blender, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Syntheyes, and Fraps (for the opening part). It took me about two months, and I'm quite happy with the result! Please let me know what you think.
PS: Also, being new to the forums, I can only assume this is where something like this belongs. If not... please be gentle.
PSS: I am well aware of just how awful my camera is... I hate it too. I just haven't yet found a good replacement that I can use for VFX work.
