American Horror Story....anyone watching this?

Couldn't find a thread on this one.... just wondering if people are watching it and what you think of it?

I've been watching and it's keeping my interest, but I still don't know if I like it or not. Jessica Lang play a great part, so there's that.
Let me know what you think.
 
I've been watching it and am kinda in the same boat. It intrigues be because I like the genre and have always been drawn to creepy stories, and I love that it is a tv show because it allows more time for things to develop (though also time for random boring things) However, I have felt like the story is really scattered. Still plan on watching but I would like them to tighten it up a bit.
 
Im on the ropes as well. There are parts where it is just too predictable, and others where it keeps me wondering.
Aside from having to sit through Vampire Diaries and True Blood with my wife (Blah!), I really enjoy something that I actually "like" watching with her...
 
I watched the first episode, but I didn't like it very much. The characters weren't that likable or interesting, and there just didn't seem to be that much mystery regarding the ghosts. It seemed to be going in an obvious, predictable direction without much evidence that it was going to do anything different.
 
The characters are kind of bland... or very dysfunctional, and i haven't seen a plot bounce around like that since Twin Peaks.
 
I've been watching - interested to see where it goes. While I agree that some of it is predictable I think that there is a lot of macabre sexual energy (not sure if that's good or bad), and also I'm intrigued to see more of the backstory on the house. Horror shows never seem to last that long, and I imagine this one won't be any different, but nonetheless I'm giving it a shot.

This is what I was thinking too. I keep waiting for this to 'go' somewhere...
I will say, I like the look of it and the slick production. (But that intro is way too long!)
 
Yeah... I'm hooked... have to see this through now. It was the Jessica Lang character that kept me watching...I think she's great.
Now I don't know who's living...and who's dead (or about to be). Good stuff.
