Includes the following:
(1) R9 280X card
(2) Mac Pro power cables
$260 with free shipping CONUS

I pulled this from my working (early 2009 MacPro5,1) Mac Pro running El Capitan and replaced with an expensive as hell Titan X. We can squeeze a little more from these great systems and this card will help you edit in FCPX and Premiere Pro.
The AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB modified for all classic Apple Mac Pro models. This card is Plug & Play on all Mac Pro models 1,1 to 5,1 running OS X 10.8.3 or higher. For 10.7.5 to 10.8.2 a driver is required before installing the card. No support for OS X 10.6. OS X 10.10.5 or higher is recommended.
macOS 10.12 Sierra ready. No driver needed.
This card will show boot screens on all outputs and identify as AMD Radeon R9 280X in System Information.
It will run at full PCI-E 2.0 speed (5.0GT/s) in Mac Pro 3,1 through 5,1.
AMD Radeon graphics cards support OpenCL for GPU assisted computing and rendering in applications like Final Cut Pro X. The specs of the R9 280X are similar to the FirePro D700, which is Apple's best option in the new Mac Pro "Cylinder."
2048 Stream Processors
4.1 teraflops compute power
1030MHz GPU clock / 1500Mz memory clock
3GB 384-Bit GDDR5
DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.5, and OpenCL 1.2
Supports Metal in OS X 10.11 El Capitan & 10.12 Sierra
Outperforms the nVidia GTX 970 and 980 in OpenCL benchmarks!!! (Flashed for Mac versions of these cards are a lot more expensive)
Up to 4 displays can be used via the following ports:
DVI (up to 2560x1600)
HDMI (up to 4096x2160)
