AMC Interlacing Issues

Hey everyone,

I have footage shot with the DVX100 (24pa squeeze settings).

I am currently editing in AMC 3.5.1. Project settings are DV NTSC 23.976 widescreen. The footage in the Composer and Source window play back fine without any interlacing. However when i scrub one frame at a time, the fourth frame is interlaced.

Furthermore, whenever I export a clip the footage is interlaced regardless of the setting I select at export! How can this be when my footage is 24pa?

What can I do to get a progressive export.

Sounds like your capture was not done right. Look at your Film/24p settings and ensure that you have advanced cadence as well as "A" frame active for relationhip to 00:00:00:00.

Make sure the Pullin column in the bin is all "A "frames and that all the START timcodes end in either 0 or 5. If not, what I mentioned is the issue.
