Amazon Faders

I like the UltraPro. Not good at 200mm and I'm sure it's giving me a color cast, but in general it works well and I like the look.

I recently had some left over money on a gift card, So I decided for the heck of it to grab a neewer fader Nd, And to be honest, It's so close to the same quality as my fader that was well over 100.00. I was shocked that they were able to produce a product with such good quality for so little money. So I bought more, they were all the same, none with lesser quality, So unless you plan on shooting, and blowing up your footage to 400%, there really is no discernible difference you will see. Although at the darkest settings, there is a very little color cast, but most all exhibit this a little, in essence, your stacking to polarizers on top of each other, it's really clever, but not rocket science. So to answer your question, they are really good, with very very little hit on sharpening, nothing that cant be fixed easily in post to get back the tiny loss, and again you wont notice any sharpening loss unless you blow it up to at least 400% and study the image.

I bought a Neewer about 2 years ago for $15-20, I don't remember exactly. For their price they are more than legit, they're a bargain. I've tested some faders such as the Genus and the LCW and they looked so bad -color shift and messing up sharpness- that I ended up getting the Tiffen Indy Pro kit. When I saw the Neewer one, it was so cheap that I decided to give it a try, and for some inexplicable reason it was better than the mid-range faders. That being said, 99% of the times I still use the Tiffen NDs..
