This was tiring but fun ,if you're curious to see how a glidecam and an hmc 40 can do in extreme situations look no further

Nicely done steadicam work with such a light camera! I always had probs moving faster than a walking pace with the HMC40 b/c it was so light the wind would twist it with my preferred balance.

That event looks like a blast!

The HMC40 is 2.16 pounds plus the weight of the battery. I would think that the Glidecam HD1000 Stabilizer System (0 --> 3 pounds) would work also and the cost is a bit lower. Not that the Glidecam HD2000 Stabilizer System would have a problem (2 --> 6 pounds).

Yeah, but what if you've got the XLR adapter, a shotgun mic and cable, and/or a light and lens? That'd put it over 3 pounds, I'd think.

I have it balanced with the: stock battery , and the wide angle adapter

But I wanted to have the option of adding more gear onto it ,its also a great arm workout :D
