Well, after 12 years, I needed to have an experience to learn a lesson and understand how valuable build-quality is.
Picked up a few different Amarans after I saw they were some of the most purchased lights out there (and probably in the top 3 right now for most power for the price), but during a recent trip my 200d had its Bowens mount damaged. The levers that lock any attachment into it cracked off, but thankfully the light works perfectly.
But with that said, I cannot use it at all because the gear I use these lights with are heavier soft boxes in run-and-gun setups, so I might as well throw it out because I'm not fixing it...but first figured a good ole DVXuser may be interested since you can still attach the reflector it came with (pictured below) and tape it on to keep it there (or use the light in a different way without it, like with umbrellas).
$175. Includes all original accessories (big box) and shipping.
Please LMK as soon as possible because I don't keep things for too long (no clutter).
