Hey guys,
I've been pretty quiet on these boards for the last year or so. I was actually really busy getting this film out the door in time for the Toronto International Film Festival. Since then it has won several awards like:
We shot this film on the HDX900. We did a bunch of tests with it before we headed off to india for 2 1/2 months. We also surprisingly used many shots with the HVX200 where we couldn't get a permit like the subways or near government buildings. We transfered this to film... and WOW! It looked incredible. Not one person was every able to tell that this was even shot on HD –let alone some some scenes on ther HVX200.
I was the Technical Director, Second Camera Operator, and Visual FX artist on this film. We shot this same film as a short 4 years before on the DVX100. I guess Panasonics been good to me. I hope you can catch the film in Dallas or one of these upcoming festivals:

PS: Here is one of the FX shots I had to do. It was a Day for Night Shot that required fireworks.
