Am I going to regret if I'm shooting in different frame rates and formats?

Im shooting a project with a HMC150 and a Canon XA10. Ideally, the thing will be edited in 24fps but I know I'll want some slo-mo at times. Because of this, I find myself shooting at times with the

HMC 150:
720 60p
1080 24p

XA10
60i
24p

When it comes time to edit all this stuff, am I going to have hell? I use FCP 7 (small chance I'll move up to FCP X but unlikely) when editing. I've never edited a project that has multiple frame rates. I dont know if this is a bad idea or not. Advise me!

Transcode all the footage in Compressor to ProRes 422. Enable frame controls and change the fields of the interlaced to progressive. You can probably get away with blowing up the 720 slowmo to 1080. You may or may not see a difference. I've done the same exact thing with the HMC150 and just blow it up. You can also do the opposite and edit your 1080p footage in a 720/24p timeline so your downscaling, but it all depends on person. I wouldn't do that.

Forgot that FCP6/7 transcodes during ingesting, so you'd only really have to worry about the interlaced footage.
