I'm an I.T. student for the most part (or, as I say, "by day") and having not filmed anything for a while (I have been working on a feature-length screenplay for the last year, between classes) I was just itching to do something, so I got a script together and my usual little cast and crew, and we shot. It's been hell so far, most especially in terms of scheduling as everyone has day jobs and/or studying to do. Sometimes shoots are canceled a few hours beforehand due to this, but we've managed to pull it together (alas, not to my standard, but it's zero budget, so...). I've even had my locations sold, yes "sold". A container park with about 50 containers was sold a week before we had to shoot there. Anyway, last little bit of pick-up's this coming weekend because we ran out of sun.
The logline:
A man discovers a device that can switch circumstances, but its sinister uses are soon realized.
It always feels like I've trying to stuff too much into a short script, which I probably am. Best start moving on to longer (and better funded...) projects.
It's going to be a while before I can lock picture but here's a short reel of some sample footage. Password is: "stance". What do you think?
I wanted to go for a very gritty and spontaneous feel, with many films influencing that style. Oh, and make-up was done by myself (When have you ever heard of a director doing make-up? Crazy.) due to the fact that the people involved in the film had to be as flexible as possible, and a make-up artist is just one more person to disagree with my scheduling changes.

And here's some behind the scenes pics (very guerrilla, I know):
