GH2 Alright... who knows what size screwdriver I need to take of the EVF housing

So... a couple weeks ago I got a cheap generic eyecup I could install over the EVF. To install it, I need to take off the housing first. Unfortunately those 2 little "screws" holding it in place were invented by Satan himself, as NOT one of my precision screwdrivers is small enough for them. They essentially require dental tools to extract them, and they're very shallow / strip instantly if you use any force with a head that doesn't perfectly match up.

So... anyone have an idea of what screwdriver I might need, obviously taking into account that it will need to be a "precision" driver? I'd like to hear from anyone who's actually done this!

Do not take a chance on screwing up anything on your camera to install a "cheap generic" eyecup over the EVF. It's flat not worth it.

: )

Well, while this is naturally good advice Bruce, we are talking about a plastic rim that goes around a viewfinder. There's nothing to screw up there. Don't be too afraid of the words "cheap & generic" when all it refers to is a piece of non-consequential plastic which doesn't conflict operationally with the camera in any significant way.

So back to the query... I'd love to know of a precision screwdriver small enough to take out those screws... hopefully somebody knows of one : )

#00 Philips does it. Good driver size to have around, lots of cameras and laptops and small electronics use screws that size.

No, it's definitely a #00 Philips. I checked by using one to remove those two screws - partially, of course, since I don't need to remove my EVF housing.
