Alright, i narrowed it down.

my finger is still on that trigger. blade, m2e, or brevis. i did put an order in for the blade but it got canceled because their credit card system wasn't up and i did not have time to run to the bank so i missed the shipping slot. the new slot is not going to work unless i can delay the shoot past that date which will be hard.
 
Why not take the pressure off of yourself and borrow or rent an adapter for your project? You'll get an opportunity to find out what works and doesn't work for you with whichever adapter you borrow/rent and you'll be better equiped to make a decision based on the feature sets you now know that you "must" have.
 
Yes I have to agree with that, alot of my friends were pressured into buying an adapter. I used every adapter everything from a Letus FE to a P+S mini Technik before I bought my first adapter (Letus ExXxtreme but sold it 10 months latter and got a Sg Blade). BTW my Blade took about a extra couple of days to get to me (I live in the US).
 
kids this is what happens when you leave your finger on the trigger while messing around, you will accidentally fire it.

just placed the order for the blade and this time their credit/debit card system was up so i payed with my debit. since it wont come in anytime soon looks like im going to be renting after all. any one know of any good places in the Chicago area?
 
Zacuto doesn't rent out the blade, at least I don't think they do. I know they have the Letus line of adapters, cinevate, cinemek, and I think the Redrock. I highly recommend them, I buy all my camera stuff through them. They also rent out lens if you need them.
 
cool thanks guys i'll check em out this week. i checked out their site and i saw that they are selling the g35. now how does that work do you purchase from them and they go through cinemek or do they actually have the stock and i can go down there today and pick one up?
 
As far as i know they have everything in stock in their storefront, that's on their website. I would call them before you go there though first to confirm they have everything that you want.
