$50 for Kleiner's DVDs would probably be worth it, compared to the $35 book -- and no reason, at that price, not to do both. Kleiner is always offering very helpful tidbits over at the COW, so I have no doubt at all of his depth of knowledge.

Not sure just yet.  In my house, I'll touch bases with my wife on any purchase hovering around 50 dollars.  She's in Vegas at a convention for her business.  

I'll chat with her manana and then search the web like a Wraith looking for a hobbit that has my ring.  

I'll be sure to post any good deals; but I'm sure they are comparable this time around.

i bought the spotted book and it comes with a little CD that has tutorials to follow along with, it is well written and covers almost everything.

Gary's DVD's don't mention DVD Architect. I don't know if Douglas Spotted Eagle's DVD's do or not...

Thanks for the links barry. Going by the list Jubal posted, it looks like the SE DVDs offer much more than Kleiner's. Is it worth the extra cash to just jump into the SE DVDs rather than starting with kleiner's. Im still fresh with Vegas.
