Allwine Prairie

Here is a video that I created about Allwine Prairie. Owned by the University of Nebraska at Omaha, it is one of the last remaining prairies in the Omaha metro area. Allwine is currently becoming surrounded by suburban developments which threaten its biodiversity. This video highlights its ecological uniqueness and brings awareness to the landscape that once dominated Nebraska but now exists as little isolated fragments.

All interviews were shot with the 50mm FD at f/2.0 and various ND filters.

Hey, nice to know there's another GH1 user as close as Omaha! I'm based out in Sioux County. Dordt College, my alma mater, is in the process of restoring their own small tall-grass prairie.
