What is the differences between ALL-I and IPB? I did some test filming today and I noticed that when I had it set for ALL-I it would only let me record for a few seconds and then it would stop but when I record in IPB it would let me record longer without any issues. I was wondering if it could be my SD card?

All-I is what we call "intra frame", this means that every single frame is recorded as it's own individual image. IPB mode incorporates the use of "P" and "B" frames, which means the camera computer uses the frames before and after a frame to guess what is in it, resulting in a more compressed image.

All-I is for heavy action scenes and takes up more space, IPB is for lighter action scenes and takes up less space. All-I can lend itself to more shadow noise.

I recommend class 10 SD cards for all-i video, what are you using currently?

It is a c4 SD I will have to wait until next month and get a much better card. This one was a left over from my t3i.
