Hello all,
I may need an assistant to help me out on an indie shoot that starts next week on Monday, and goes through Thursday. The film is shooting M-Th in Mexico, and we will be traveling on the road in an RV. The film is being directed by a widely distributed director, and we are being funded by a non-profit organization.
I'm in a bit of a bind, as most of my usual suspects are unavailable for the shoot, and the pay is very (read: very) low. If anyone is interested in working as my Asst. (Mostly Lighting (read: bouncing light with mirrors, bounce boards, show cards etc.) and a little bit of A.C. work (we are using my DVX100A w/follow focus, matte box, filters, support gear up the wazzoo)) I would be highly appreciative to hear from you.
As I said, we are shooting in Mexico, so the best candidate would have not only the mad skills as listed above, but also a valid U.S. passport. If you are interested please e-mail me at the info listed below, including your resume, preferably as a word doc. At that time we can talk more in depth about the payment, project, duties etc.
