I posted this on Mandy but figured I would copy it here - if you are interested PM me. We are shooting on the HVX
Comedy feature film shooting on HD on location (35 locations) in Manhattan seeking an all around camera department assistant. This person will join the DP in operating, lighting, backend workflow on HD footage and anything else in between. Very demanding, very challenging and very very exciting. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, a collaborator and be willing to work with the DP and sub in for the DP when he is not around. Technical prowness and ability to problem solve lighting in small locations and technical issues are prerequisites. This is an all digital production - there will be no tapes used so technical knowledge is a must.
This is a paid job in the form of small salary up front, deferred payments and profit sharing points in the final production.
