OK, I'm no poet, but join the game if you like.

What is it? Should I kill them off?

I'm editing late tonight. I'll get some responses together soon, but I thought I'd throw this "riddle" out there regarding my site:

Turn up your speakers as loud as possible.
If you start at the splash page and listen to the "walk-out," you will hear CHIRPING, birds talking. We shot this at 2 AM and could not figure out why the hell there were so many birds out at night making so much noise.

Obviously, they are still there. I wanted to keep the sound of the footsteps. The other possibility was to play music on that part. but what, I don't know. What do you think keep the birds? or insert music?

BTW, SilverWolf was the first to PM- me with the CRICKETS guess. JDS was next, I think, but no, close, it was not crickets.

That is the unmistakable nighttime repertoire of the Northern Mockingbird. They often sing during the wee hours, presumably to maintain territories and make their presence known to other Mockingbirds. Some research indicates that our gratuitous use of nighttime lights is stimulating this behavior since they are usually diurnal, not nocturnal.

I love the varied song, and I used to record them at night when there was little or no human noise to interfere. I say keep them and your other sound and leave out the music.

Nice site, by the way.

I don't know yet. I guess the T-shirts are out because they had to be pre-sold?

Interesting! Thanks for the info. And hello to you. You’re probably not far from me.

TEST Test. I’m testing to see if I get email notification on this? I’m sure pretty much nobody is reading this, but if you type out your responses like this ( out on a separate document), do the people still get email notification if it is their preference? Hmm. I’ll go check my email to see if I’ll be told I was replied to by me.

Very nice website! Diggin' your style!.

Thanks, goldenb0y55!

I look forward to rounding out the content in the next year.

Well, the answer to my own question above is that NO, you don't get email notification unless you directly respond to the original post.
